Sleep on your back or on your side, never on your stomach. Your body needs seven to eight hours each night to cleanse, filter, repair and rejuvenate. Use a good quality pillow like Chiro-Flow, and do not use a feather pillow, as it does not provide proper support. Do not forget to rotate your mattress according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If you have insomnia you may have adrenal fatigue. ·Avoid snacks before bed, especially sugar and grain
·Sleep in complete darkness or as close as possible
·Do not watch TV before bed, especially the news
·Wear socks
·Read something uplifting, motivations, spiritual or religious
·Avoid using alarm clocks, consider a solar clock instead
·Write in a journal
·Ask us about appropriate supplementation
·Go to bed earlier than usual and be consistent
·Check your bedroom for electro-magnetic fields (EMF’s). You can purchase a gauss meter at 800-497-9516
·Keep the temperature in your room no higher than 70 degrees F
·Eat a high protein snack several hours before bed
·Eat a small piece of fruit
·Avoid caffeine after 3PM
·Move electrical devices such as alarm clocks at least 3 feet from your head
·Do not use electric blankets
·Avoid alcohol
·Lose weight
·Do not drink fluid within 2 hours of going to bed
·Take a hot bath, shower or sauna before bed
·Exercise regularly
