MORTER MARCH

The Morter March is an exercise that improves neurological balance and re-times internal communication by extending large muscle groups and their joints through a full range of motion.

  1. Stand erect with feet straight 
  2. Step forward with the right foot
  3. Bend right knee until you cannot see your right toes
  4. Raise the left arm up
  5. Bring the right arm back
  6. Turn your head and look over your left shoulder
  7. Close your right eye
  8. Take a deep breath in and count to ten
  9. Pivot your feet 90 degrees so that now your left foot is forward (this takes some practice), realign your feet so that they are forward
  10. Bend the left knee until you cannot see your left toes
  11. Raise the right arm forward
  12. Bring the left arm back
  13. Turn your head and look over your right shoulder
  14. Close your left eye
  15. Take a deep breath in and count to ten
  16. Repeat this process three times each side (takes a total of one minute). Perform the Morter March 2-3 times daily
